Little Bird, Little Bird, It’s Time for Bed

Adam Lewis

Wonderful! This is obviously written by someone who knows kids well. The story is beautifully planned and absolutely adorable. It’s simple in all the right ways, and it’s exactly what you want in a bedtime story.

I loved the number progression too. It’s an extra little element that pushes the story to a whole new level.

Gorgeous colors and textures. This was quite cleverly illustrated. Each element was reused throughout the book. You’ll notice that the characters never change positions even though the setting changes. Rather than looking lazy though (as is often the case), the repetition adds a sense of balance and continuity that I really enjoyed.

LOVE. The font, the texture, and the layout are all perfect for this book. I have no complaints. This is a rare five-star book.
